Prof. Dr. Mary P. Nyawira Wahome has served as the Associate Dean, School of Arts & Social Sciences, Moi University, Kenya since February 2016. She was Head of Department of Philosophy, Religion and Theology for four years (2012 - 2016). She is an Associate Professor of Philosophy in the Department where she teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has supervised and examined several students at Master’s and Doctoral degree levels. She was trained in University Graduate Tracer Studies (GTS) at the University of Kassel - Germany (2010 & 2011) and in Bali, Indonesia (2012). She was also trained as a trainer of trainers in GTS at the University Of Duisburg - Essen Germany in April 2015. Jointly with another East African and German experts in GTS, she participated in the University Graduates’ Tracer Study Course 2.0 in East Africa at Moi University, Nairobi Campus as a trainer. This was a training of 11 pairs of Higher Education Institution high-level personnel from the East African region and involved four workshops (October 2015, February 2016, July 2016 and October 2016) and online mentorship. The participants are conducting GTS in their home institutions.
