Implementing SDGs at an Argentine University

OUTLINE: In 2022, the Secretariat of University Policies under Argentina's Ministry of Education launched the "Sustainable Universities" initiative to raise awareness and institutionalise efforts to promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within universities. In response to this call, a project led by the Faculty of Professional Studies at the Universidad Nacional de Rafaela (UNRaf) was lauched, focusing on integrating SDGs into the university’s strategic planning. This session will explain the implementation of SDG at UNRaf and comment on the future expectations of the university on this topic.
Institutional Approach to Sustainability: A Case of Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur

OUTLINE: The unique master plan of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur conceptualizes the workings of all parts of the campus as an interlocking, integral network of complex dynamic systems, like the metabolism of a living organism. The institute has expanded its green plantation coverage to 106,334 square feet by planting 2,460 plants, 6,963 shrubs, and hedges. This initiative contributes significantly to carbon reduction in arid regions like Rajasthan.
