Tatas H.P. Brotosudarmo


Dr. Brotosudarmo is the Director of National CoE Ma Chung Research Center for Photosynthetic Pigments (MRCPP) at Universitas Ma Chung, Malang, Indonesia. He obtained B.Sc in Chemistry (2001) from Satya Wacana Christian University, Indonesia; Diplom Chemie (2006) from Ludwig Maximilian Universität München, Germany; and Ph.D (2010) from University of Glasgow, UK. Dr. Brotosudarmo has received prestigious awards, including Marie Curie RTN (2007-2010), Kavli Frontier of Science (2012 & 2016), 22nd Toray S&T Award (2016) from the Indonesia Toray Foundation, and the UK Alumni Professional Achievement Award (2017) from British Council. He is a young intrapreneurial leader, who succeeded to lead MRCPP as the first research centre from a private HEI that was awarded the certificate of recognition as a National CoE by the MoRTHE of Indonesia. Now, he is the Vice President for Science & Policy of Indonesia Young Academy of Sciences and honorary associate professor at Shizuoka University, Japan.
