Nemuel D. Pah


Dr. Nemuel Daniel Pah was the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of Universitas Surabaya (2011-2019), one of the five best private universities in Indonesia. His responsibility is to introduce strategic policies that enable all Deans and Directors in the academic area to perform efficiently towards the university’s goals concerning academic issues. He represented the university in Association of University in Asia and Pacific (AUAP) meetings in China (2012) and Thailand (2015) that initiated academic collaborations between universities in Asia and Pacific. Since 2012, Dr. Pah has been the Komisariat I Chairman of Indonesian Private University Association (APTISI) in East Java, Indonesia. Before serving as Vice Rector, Dr. Pah was appointed as the Head of Department of Electrical Engineering, Universitas Surabaya (2003 – 2011). Dr. Pah holds a doctorate degree in signal processing from The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia. His research areas are in biomedical signal processing, image processing and intelligent robotics.
