Muzailin Affan

Vita

Muzailin Affan is a lecturer in the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Syiah Kuala. He completed his doctoral degree at Tohoku University, Japan. His research interests include remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), focusing on the capture, storage, analysis, management, and visualization of spatial data. Since 2016, he has served as the Head of the Office of International Affairs at Universitas Syiah Kuala. Muzailin has established strong academic networks both in Indonesia and internationally, particularly in Japan. He actively participates in various international events and programs, including the DIES-NMT Training Workshop, and is an alumnus of the DIES Management of Internationalisation (MoI) program (2017).
