Antriman Orleans
Vita
Dr. Antriman V. Orleans is an educator with international trainings and exposure. Holding an academic rank of Full Professor, Dr. Orleans presently is the Dean of the College of Graduate Studies and Teacher Education Research at the Philippine Normal University (PNU). In 2014, he served as Visiting Professor in the Faculty of Education, University of Malaya (UM), Kuala Lumpur. Dr. Orleans earned a Ph.D. by Research (Science Education) degree from the Hiroshima University, a Master in Science Teaching – Physics degree from the De La Salle University, and a BS in Physics for Teachers degree from the Philippine Normal College. As an academician, Dr. Orleans has authored books in science and research, and written research articles (some in collaboration with UM experts) published in ISI and Scopus abstracted journals. His research studies dealt with pedagogical content knowledge in science teaching, metacognition and epistemological beliefs in science, and implicit intelligence.
