Vida Korang

Vita

Dr Vida Korang holds a doctorate in management and is a senior lecturer. She is the executive secretary of the Marian Conflict and Resolution Centre at the Catholic University, a centre responsible for training and settling disagreements using alternative dispute resolution methods. She was the Head of the Department of Management of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the Catholic University of Ghana from 2017 to 2021 and acting dean for the faculty in 2018, during which young faculty members were mentored and trained on their jobs. She also managed a partnership programme of the university from 2017 to 2022 where over eighty (80) executives of organisations under the partnership flagship training programme in Executive Masters in Organisational Development and Appreciative Leadership (EMODAL) were trained as coordinators for the Commonwealth Youth Programme - Africa Region. She coordinated the activities of national representatives of young people of the 21 African countries of the Commonwealth. She has developed and managed several projects and has been teaching Project Management as a course at the university. She is an alumna of the NMT Ghana in 2018 and the IDC Africa in 2021.
