Luisa Fernanda Echeverria King


Luisa Echeverría currently works as Advisor to the International Relations and Cooperation Group of the General Directorate of SENA in Colombia and is a Higher Education Consultant.  PhD. in Education from the University of Murcia (Spain). Executive Director of the Latin American and Caribbean Science Diplomacy Network (Diplocientifica) and Vice-President of the Colombian chapter from the World Organization of Women in Science in Developing Countries (OWSD).  Reseacher in the fields of internatonal higher education and science diplomacy. She holds a Master's degree in Linguistics from the University of Antioquia (Colombia) and a Master's degree in Teaching German as a Foreign Language from the Pedagogical University of Freiburg (Germany). She studied Linguistics, Translation and Cultural Studies at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany. Since 2012 she has been working for the internationalization of higher education. In January 2020, she participated as a scholarship holder of the Indian Government in a Course on Science Diplomacy in New Delhi, India.
