Omary Chillo
Vita
Dr. Chillo is the lecturer of Physiology at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences. He has more than 8 years in healthcare research in cardiovascular science with five years’ experience in the leadership position as head of the Physiology Department and president of Tanzania Health Summit. He has a Degree in Medicine and PhD in vascular physiology from Ludwig Maximilian University, Munich. He is fellow, member and alumni such as DAAD, Fellow LMU, Global Young Physician Leadership, DIES alumni, Young National Academy of Sciences (Tanzania) and Medical Association of Tanzania. He won a grant for new ideas for global health to develop a platform for effective cross-sectoral collaboration to enhance knowledge exchange. Dr. Chillo also speaks in health forums, Tanzania Health Summit, World Health Summit (GE), National Academy of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine (US) and East Africa Health Research Commission. Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Leadership and Management at Mzumbe University.
