Idalberto Herrera Moya

Vita

Dr. Idalberto Herrera is the Vice-Dean for researches, postgraduate study and Internationalization of the Faculty of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the Central University "Marta Abreu" of Las Villas (UCLV), Cuba. He is a professor at the Center for Energy and Environmental Technologies Assessments and an expert in energy technologies and environmental impact analysis of energy transformations and use, which are the subjects he teaches and researches at UCLV. He had taught as visiting professor in the Popular University of Nicaragua, the Technological Institute of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. He obtained his Engineering Degree from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, UCLV Cuba in 2001, his M.Sc. from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, UCLV in 2004, and Ph.D. from VUB Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium in 2013.
