Florence Indede
Vita
Professor Florence Indede is the associate professor of Kiswahili studies at the Maseno University. She has PhD in Kiswahili studies from Maseno University, which benefited from DAAD scholarship studies at Bayreuth University in Germany. She obtained her master's degree in Kiswahili studies and a BEd degree from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. Her main areas of focus are pragmatics and discourse analysis in Kiswahili and literary texts, quality assurance, research, and knowledge management in higher education. She had her work published in relevant journals and book chapters. Professor Indede is a chairperson at the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) and at the Department of Kiswahili and Other African Languages (KOAL) at Maseno University.
