Flora Mercader-Trejo holds a doctoral degree in analytical chemistry from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a Postdoctoral stay at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Córdoba in Spain. Dr. Mercader-Trejo currently serves as the Dean of Research, Technological Development and Postgraduate Studies at the Polytechnic University of Santa Rosa Jáuregui. In this position she is in charge of developing and establishing the strategic plan for research and graduate studies activities aligned to the Institutional strategic plan. She participated in the DIES-IDC 2014-2015 program with the Strategic Action Plan for the Universidad Politécnica de Santa Rosa Jáuregui centered on the development of the Research and Postgraduate Studies Department.ility of students, teachers, and administrators. She currently works as a professor in a bilingual high school.
