SR. DR. KAAHWA Kaahwa Maria Goretti has been involved in Higher Education working in the Quality Assurance field for many years. She is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Instructional Curriculum and Technology Media Studies, in the Faculty of Education at Kyambogo University. Currently, she is Quality Assurance Director of Kyambogo University. She holds a Doctorate in Education and a Master of Science in Education and School Reform (MS.Ed.), She has a Bachelor of Education (B.ED), all from Duquesne University in USA. She has a Dip. in Education from the Makerere University in Uganda. Moreover she holds different certificates in: Quality Assurance, Distance Education, Guidance and Counselling, Stress Management, Theology of Reconciliation, Methods of Research, with children to mention but a few. She is among the Founders of the Ugandan Universities Quality Assurance Forum (UUQAF) and the East African Higher Education Quality Assurance Network (EAQAN) and worked as a representative of Uganda Chapter in EAQAN in the past years.
