Francis Ssengendo

Mr. Francis Ssengendo is an educationist with a Bachelor of Arts in Education, a Master of Educational Management and Planning and is currently pursuing a PhD in Education at Nkumba University. He is a seasoned higher education administrator and senior higher education manager, currently working at Nkumba University as Director of Quality Assurance. Mr. Francis Ssengendo has a wealth of experience in higher education management and administration with a vast specialized training in Quality Assurance. He trained as a peer assessor at the regional level under the IUCEA programme Assessment Project Cohort 4. Mr. Ssengendo also trained in several quality assurance aspects such as curriculum development, project planning, higher education leadership, modern teaching and learning dynamics, among others, at the national level under the Ugandan Universities Quality Assurance Forum. He has participated in mentorship and training of university academic staff and Quality Assurance Officers in Uganda as a trainer. He is currently the Vice President of the Ugandan Universities Quality Assurance Forum (UUQAF) and a QA expert serving as a National Council for Higher Education Institutional Assessor.
