Liliane Umutesi
Vita
Dr Liliane Umutesi is t he deputy vice-chancellor of academic affairs and a senior lecturer at the University of Tourism, Technology and Business Studies. With a PhD in Information Technology Management (2015) and a master’s degree in advanced computer systems development (2009). Liliane is an energetic and dynamic person with extensive academic experiences of more than 16 years as deputy vice-chancellor in charge of academics, faculty/school dean, head of department, senior lecturer by academic rank, researcher and research supervisor. She is an alumna of the project of DIES - Afrique QA-TrainIQA.
She is an accomplished academic leader, known for her innovative approaches to the use of technology in education. In addition, Liliane is actively involved in promoting quality assurance in higher learning institutions and she works tirelessly to improve academic standards in her institution and beyond.
