Peter Akampa Neema-Abooki

Prof Dr Peter Akampa Neema-Abooki is a professor of higher educational management and administration/ business studies, human resource management in education, and educational policy. He is a renowned academic with over two decades of experience in higher education. Throughout his career, he has made significant contributions to educational policy, planning, and curriculum studies. At Makerere University, prof. Neema-Abooki founded the East African School of Higher Education Studies and Development, where he served as the dean. His leadership extended to Uganda Technology and Management University, where he held the positions of professor and dean. His academic journey has taken him to numerous institutions, including Kyambogo University and Victoria University, where he has lectured and coordinated graduate programmes. Prof. Neema-Abooki's influence in academia reaches beyond Uganda. He has been an Honorary Lecturer at Mbarara University of Science and Technology and has served as an External Examiner for universities across national, regional, and international levels. His expertise is sought after in various capacities, including as a reviewer at international forums and as a member of several international technical committees.
