Dr Andrew Madoda Makola is a distinguished expert in quality management within higher education, holding a PhD in quality management from the Durban University of Technology, an MBA and BB&A Honours from the University of Stellenbosch Business School, South Africa, and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Andrews University, USA. He is a DIES Alumnus: TrainIQA (2019-2020). He currently serves as the Director of Program Accreditation and Registration at the University of South Africa. Previously, he held key positions such as Director of Academic Planning and Quality Assurance at the University of Mpumalanga, Director for Quality Assurance and Information Management at the University of the Western Cape, and Quality Assurance Manager and Head of Department at Walter Sisulu University.
