Dr Maria Goretti M. Purwanto is a Full Professor of Biotechnology at the University of Surabaya (UBAYA). She earned her MSc and PhD in Bioanalytical Chemistry from leading universities in Germany under DAAD scholarships. Her expertise spans functional food, bioanalysis, and biotechnology innovation, with extensive Scopus-indexed publications and national patents. She currently serves as Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at UBAYA and is an active national reviewer, evaluator, and academic leader in higher education quality assurance and internationalisation.
